Ermira Goro
After Party
After Party is a solo performance about mid-life crisis. The choreographer Ermira Goro focuses on art’s social dimension and choreographs the outstanding Greek dancer Angeliki Stellatou, who forms the production’s core as a performer and as a woman. The character she dances is rooted in the dancer’s and other women’s experiences. The production tackles the identity crisis that comes with middle age as everyone—but women most of all—are beset by existential angst and insecurities. But could the mid-life crisis become an opportunity for rebirth?
