An Athens Festival and Synch educational programme
The Athens Festival educational programme returns for its second year with a series of seminars and workshops on theatre, dance and music. It includes a series of three four-hour workshops entitled Interactive Tools with Performance and Art Installation Applications, organised in collaboration with Synch and to be held between 22 and 24 July.

22/7 : Interactive Audiovisual Installations
Instructor: Yannis Zannos (Ionian University)
A presentation of tools and methods for the creation of interactive audiovisual art installations. The programmes SuperCollider and VVVV will be used. Workshop participants will have the opportunity to use the programmes themselves.
23/7 : Techniques for Sound Synthesis in Real Time
Instructor: Panayiotis Kokoras (HELMCA – Aristotle University of Thessaloniki)
A presentation of tools and methods for the synthesis and modification of sound in real time. The programme MSP (max-msp) will be used. Workshop participants will have the opportunity to use the program themselves.
24/7 : The Creation and Application of Algorithmic Tools for Controlling Sound Environments
Instructor: Dimitris Adam (Sonic Intelligence – Aristotle University of Thessaloniki)
The programme MAX (max-msp) will be used. Workshop participants will have the opportunity to use the program themselves.
