Sarah Lucas
Nuds Cycladic
Sarah Lucas (b. London, 1962) belongs to the generation of Young British Artists who emerged during the 1990s; her work explores and subverts the social stereotypes linked to sexual discrimination.
The Nuds Cycladic exhibition, curated by the artist, showcases a recent series of sculptures with which Lucas distances herself from the aggressively radical spirit that marked her past work and moves towards more abstractive forms.
