For the third consecutive year, the Epidaurus Creative Workshop will be active throughout the period of Epidaurus performances, every Friday and Saturday, held in Xenia Epidaurus (Costume Museum), next to the Ancient Theatre.
Parents and wards of children can be fully engrossed into watching the performances; meanwhile, the children are creatively engaged, coming in contact with the content of the plays presented at the theatre. This artistic and educational workshop is meant for children 4-12 and is open between 20:00 until the end of the Epidaurus performance on that day. The programme is led by a team of experienced theatre educators and teachers of music, movement and aesthetics. This year, the workshop will run parallel to the following performances:
29 & 30 June: The Acharnians
6 & July: Agamemnon
13 & 14 July: Plutus
20 & 21 July: Electra
27 & 28 July: Thesmophoriazusae
3 & 4 August: Orestes
10 & 11 August: The Frogs
17 & 18 August: Oedipus at Colonus
Fee per child: 5 euros
For unemployed parents and parents with many children, two children in the price of one can participate in the workshop.
