Discussion on Robert Wilson's Oedipus
The Educating Audiences in Ancient Drama programme and the Dialogue event continues on Monday April 15 at Vouleftikon Hall in Nafplio, with actress Lydia Koniordou and theatre scholar George Sampatakakis, Assistant Professor at the Department of Theatre Studies, University of Patras, as guest speakers.
The two guests will discuss Robert Wilson's performance Oedipus (based on Sophocles' Oedipus Rex) which is scheduled to be presented at the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus on 21 and 22 June 2019.
During the performance, Lydia Koniordou will also discuss her collaboration with Wilson, while George Sampatakakis will address the major director's impressive body of work.
