The award-winning Chamber Orchestra of Europe has been at the top for decades thanks to its distinctive sound and captivating performances. This summer, the beloved Orchestra tours to Europe’s greatest stages under the baton of podium superstar, Britain’s Sir Simon Rattle. This is Rattle’s second collaboration with the Orchestra, with which the charismatic conductor declares himself ‘in love’.

Gustav Mahler’s stirring Rückert-Lieder will be performed by the acclaimed mezzo-soprano Magdalena Kožená. The programme also includes Béla Bartók's Five Hungarian Folk Songs and Antonín Dvořák’s Scherzo Capriccioso, Op. 66, and concludes with an unparalleled masterpiece, Franz Schubert’s Symphony No. 9 in C major, ‘The Great’.
