adLibdances Dance Company – Katerina Papageorgiou
Oh! Deep sea-corpus I
Katerina Papageorgiou (adLibdances) — one of the most active and eminent figures of the Greek dance scene, both as dancer and choreographer — returns to the Athens Festival following her 2008 solo performance What Scratches the Glass from the Inside, which won over audiences and critics alike. Based in Berlin since 2007, she has embarked upon new creative explorations in her dedicated search for a signature style.
Οh! Deep sea-corpus I is inspired by Book 5 of the Odyssey (the encounter with Calypso), and takes the use of time as its main structural element.
