The grand epic of The Odyssey is used here by Katerina Papageorgiou (Kat Válastur) as a vehicle in her continued exploration of our collective memory. Using the body and movement as her tools, a series of forms emerge on stage, suspended outside time itself – immemorial landscapes of the unconscious. Oh! Deep Sea – Corpus III – Your Whole Life Passes Before Your Eyes is the third work in a four-part series that has toured major European festivals with success, and encapsulates the talents as well as the unique tone and style of this charismatic Greek performer and creator.
At the beginning and the end of the performance strobe light is used for one minute.
