“I am Cyprus. You?” The young Cypriot performer Eleana Alexandrou makes her Athens Festival debut in a one-woman show which attempts a fresh, direct, no-holds-barred reflection on her homeland’s identity. The set (a rug and an armchair), the fragments of political speeches playing on the radio and, of course, her own chatter –all of which are of a part with the dance-theatre action– underscore the need for a generation to call authority into question.
