Mary Linda in concert



Mary Linda – one of the last living legends from the heyday of the Greek laiko music, back when the city’s nightlife thrust major artists and performers into the limelight – will be taking to the Odeon stage with her customary urbane ease. She was the muse of composer Manolis Chiotis, and today their pairing is greatly admired by a new generation that is reviving Greek swing music. But Linda was also present when composers Mikis Theodorakis and Manos Hadjidakis were laying the foundations for the entechno genre.
