A tribute to Melina Merkouri



This year marks the twentieth anniversary of the death of Melina Merkouri, an artist who remains unmatched for her glamour, her personality and the uniqueness of her singing style. However, one of the most dynamic, outstanding and vocally multitalented singers of the new generation, Eleonora Zouganeli, does not set out to mimic Melina; what she does is add something entirely her own to melodies and lyrics in which we can still discern Melina’s reflection.

The production is directed by Petros Zoulias.
