Sylvie Guillem
Life in Progress
After an illustrious 35-year career on the dance stage, Sylvie Guillem –an embodiment of perfection who transcends the boundaries between classical and modern dance– is preparing to take her final bow. Unique and unpredictable as always, she comes to the Athens Festival with her farewell performance, Life in Progress, to show that she remains audacious and will thus retire from the dance stage at the most fitting moment. In the context of this final tour, she has chosen the Odeon to bid adieu to her adoring Greek public dancing in choreographies by Akram Khan, William Forsythe, Russell Maliphant and Mats Ek.
