Savina Giannatou with Primavera en Salonico and Lamia Bedioui. Artists with musical quests in common, they will be present a unique evening of music dedicated to the music of all those who have found themselves strangers in a strange land. Together, they will perform songs and music from the Eastern Mediterranean, North Africa, Southern Italy, the Black Sea coast and Asia Minor, bringing a unique vivacity to Sephardic, Armenian, Balkan and Greek songs of exile and displacement—songs which speak of communities, minorities, ethnicities, social groups and even entire peoples who found themselves passing through or settled in places far from their historic home.
