Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz - Thomas Ostermeier
A Midsummer Night‘s Dream
by William Shakespeare
World première
The Shakespearean Dream unfolds in the city of Athens and the enchanted forest. The Athens of the fabled comedy but of the Athens Festival, too, inspired Thomas Ostermeier to view this strange work, which constantly teeters on the line between contradictions and limits, through the prism of contemporary life.
In German with Greek surtitles.
