Following today’s announcement by the Minister of Culture and Sports Ms Lina Mendoni with regard to the support measures provided to culture/art professionals and other clarifications pertinent to the cultural events that were scheduled to be held in the immediate and near future, the Board of Directors and the Artistic Director of the Athens & Epidaurus Festival Ms Katerina Evangelatos will re-evaluate the situation in tomorrow’s meeting, based on the new information.
The Artistic Director has been deliberating, for a while now, with collaborating artists and the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and Sports and constantly keeps up to date with the specialised measures recommended by the Ministry of Health’s Committee of Experts with respect to the preparation and presentation of shows/performances, in order to assess whether and in what way part of this year’s scheduled cultural events could be realised.
