Dimitris Dimitriadis

Notebooks 1994 – 2014

Museum Alex Mylona – Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art presents 20 years of Dimitris Dimitriadis’s daily artistic notes, an impressively lush engagement with color and shapes as a form of expression and reflection, which through obsessions, develops ways to approach the visible and invisible, the spoken and the unspoken world of the author. The museum is transformed into a reading room where hundreds of notebooks and thousands of handwritten pages are available to the viewer to browse them, flick through them, read them.

As part of this exhibition, on Thursday the 11th of June at 20:00, the work “Lykaon” will be presented in the form of directed readings, directed by Yannis Skourletis, with the participation of writer Dimitris Dimitriadis and the actor Orestis Karydas and on the 2nd of July at 20:00 he will engage a public discussion with some friends.
