Piano recital with Vassilis Varvaressos

Vassilis Varvaresos made his concert début aged just 11 in Austria, and played in the ‘Little Mozarts’ concert just a few years later as one of the top eleven young piano virtuosi in the world. Since then, his playing has earned him fame around the world. Now aged 27, he is making his first appearance at the Athens Festival with a programme including works by Haydn, Ravel and Prokofiev. The charismatic Greek pianist promises his audience a unique musical experience and a recital alight with youthful exuberance.
