On a stage strewn with bread and open to multiple interpretations—the miracle of the loaves and fishes, hunger, consumerism—the Argentinean writer and director who lives in Madrid comments on the Bible in the context of our contemporary angst, engaging the trash TV idiom in a live dialogue with Haydn’s The Seven Last Words of Christ on the Cross.
