Terror lurks behind the forms, ‘being’ entwines itself around the pauses. The lexical gestures are gradually drained of meaning since, after all, “they know nothing to say”. The Athens Festival and Rene Pittaki pay tribute to Beckett on the hundredth anniversary of his birth.
