Athens Open Air Film Fest
The Magic Flute by Ingmar Bergman
This year marks the beginning of a collaboration between the Athens Festival and the Athens International Film Festival, as part of the Athens Open Air Film Festival event series.
The Magic Flute by Ingmar Bergman (1975), is a film version of Mozart’s famous opera: The Queen of the Night asks Prince Tamino to free her daughter, Pamina, who is being held captive by the evil priest Sarastro. The longer Sarastro holds Pamina, the faster the Queen loses her powers.
