Charlot & Athens State Orchestra

Music has always been Charlie Chaplin’s undisputed co-star in all of his silent masterpieces. Now, The Gold Rush is being screened at one of Athens’ most spectacular monuments, with the original music -composed by Chaplin himself – performed live, bringing film buffs and music aficionados together. The Odeon of Herodes Atticus is transformed into an open-air movie theatre as the Athens State Orchestra, conducted by Miltos Logiadis, “narrates” the wild and wacky adventures of Charlot The Tramp in freezing Alaska.
