We hear the Hymn to Liberty from the lips of a 20-year-old girl – Daphne – and of a 50-year-old woman – Mrs. Alexandra. Daphne has studied theatre at university; Mrs. Alexandra has never been to the theatre. At the point where the stage intersects with life itself, audiences are brought face-to-face with the awkwardness of the truth, with mistakes that are punished, with the Greek family unit in all its glory.
