Lakis Papadopoulos in concert
Love Games
Lakis Papadopoulos celebrates this year a successful 35-year-long career in Greek song and invites us to a grand concert at the Herodeon. One of the most significant songwriters of his generation, who is better-known by the nickname “Lakis with the turned-up trouser legs”, he set to music both Greek and international poets. Papadopoulos combines the sound of rock with Greek folk-rooted elements and has collaborated with leading singers, writing “classics” including Serenata, Quiet Evenings, To get my own back on you, Corsaire and Strange celebration. Much-loved, he continues to surprise us and has never lost his teenage lust for life.
