A post-modern version of Racine’s Phèdre from the avant-garde company from New York: a sound environment that expands and contracts time, screens, Plexiglas, movements based on burlesque and ancient Greek imagery, on Graham and Cunningham’s dance vocabulary, on badminton. A narrator intones the silent heroine’s speech.
