El Conde de Torrefiel is looking for 10 local performers to take part in some scenes of the piece LA PLAZA for their performances in Athens and Epidaurus Festival 2018 (Peiraios 260, 30 June – 2 July 2018).
The local performers will be asked to take part in group actions: a simple choreography of positions in daily, realistic situations (funeral, tourists, sunbathing, etc.). The performers will not speak on stage; there is no text to learn. The face and the body of the participants will not be visible. All performers on stage will wear a skin-colour zentai. It is important to know that the zentai might be uncomfortable as the sight is restricted and there is a sensation of enclosure; therefore, participation is not recommended to claustrophobic persons.
We are looking for 10 performers and students of performing arts, from various disciplines (dancers, performers, actors, circus) with some body dominance and movement skills.
There will be a period of two days for rehearsals (4-6 hours) and the dress rehearsal on stage (3 hours) the day before the first show.
