We are sorry to announce that the scheduled performances at the Little Theatre of Ancient Epidaurus, which were to take place on the 6th and 7th of August, are postponed. Every effort will be made to find a new date within the time limits of our current artistic program.
A new announcement will follow regarding ticket holders.
Acclaimed creator and performer Euripides Laskaridis, whose work is notable for being at the intersection of dance, theatre and visual arts, creates a new piece specially designed for the Little Theatre of Ancient Epidaurus, in which he explores aspects of ancient and contemporary Greek identity. A new take on antiquity and a form of theatre dedicated to god Dionysus, this new project also delves Laskaridis’ personal mythology, retrieving memories, movements, images, and emotions from our individual and collective past. A new comic tragedy, in which Euripides, willingly or unwillingly, encounters Euripides and other tragic poets.
