The experiential installation Agathophron, the Collector’s Atlas will be exhibited at the Benaki Museum until July 29th and will remain a work-in-progress throughout the exhibition period (up to July 29), with Daphne Kokkini working on the visual aspects and Kornilios Selmasis on the sound aspects.
Performances are also held parallel to the installation. On Saturday, July 14, at 20:45, Eleni Mylona will perform a half-hour performance titled I can see the woman in the blue sweater and the ponytail argue wonderfully. The audience is encouraged to participate in this performance, which tackles language, movement, speech in relation to imagination, space and time. The text outlining the performance goes as follows: “Dear potential participant, I am looking forward to meeting you. I am trying to imagine what made you come here today. What texts and books do you like reading? How do you spend your free time? How does your body ‘inhabit’ the public space?”
