BLITZ theatre company

Katerini

Katerini, an experimental performance from the blitz theatre company which takes place over several hours in a public reception area and seven other rooms theatre-goers can visit at specific hours, is perhaps best conceptualized as a ‘staged reality’. In the main area, a party with food and drink serves as a waiting room in which readings and happenings take place and announcements are made. In the seven private spaces, partial stories wait to be unfolded during awkward personal meetings.

And the question at the heart of this talented young company’s challenging theatrical offering: how can different human moments intersect in an era of extreme introversion?
