Heroes and Gods in Ancient Drama
An exhibition of costumes, photographs and audiovisual material
The Epidaurus Museum has been in operation since 2001, and opens its doors to the public annually during the Epidaurus Festival. The Museum houses historic material from the performances at the ancient theatre including costumes and masks, props and artefacts, photographs and audio-visual material.
This summer’s exhibition is dedicated to Heroes and Gods in Ancient Drama, and spotlights key moments in the history of the Epidaurus Festival through the creations of the costumiers and artists who have collaborated with it.
