Pablo Neruda’s General Song, in which the peoples of Latin America cry out for justice and dignity, has been remastered by Theodorakis into an epic appeal for democracy and freedom. A masterful coupling of poetry and music, Canto General speaks straight to the hearts of  listeners and has for many years served as a steady source of inspiration for artists around the world.


This year a large and top-class choir from faraway Brittany visits Greece to present this emblematic work on the occasion of the famed composer’s 90th birthday anniversary.
