Greek Contemporary Playwriters: Miroirs tragiques, fables modernes

In this new edition, which has been edited by translator Myrto Gondikas, twenty-five Greek playwrights present extracts of their work that have been translated into French – an initiative to broaden the scope of Greek dramaturgy and promote the work of Greek translators, writers and directors in France and other Francophone countries.
 
Laurent Muhleisen, artistic director of Maison Antoine Vitez, Effi Theodorou, a director, and Platon Mavromoustakos, a professor at Athens University, comment on the initiative, while artists Stefania Goulioti, Aglaia Pappa, Euripides Laskaridis and Michael Marmarinos read from the extracts of the plays.
 
With the support of the Institut français in the context of the Hellas-France Alliance 2014.
