On the road with Odysseas Elytis

Eros. The song of love. And the nostalgia of Odysseas Elytis echoing at the Little Theatre of Ancient Epidaurus, with Alkistis Protopsalti and Stefanos Korkolis in a recital for voice and piano dedicated to the Nobel Prize-winning poet. Orientations set to music by Elias Andriopoulos and songs by other celebrated Greek composers including Mikis Theodorakis, Manos Hadjidakis, Dimitris Lagios and Michalis Tranoudakis. This tribute to musical settings of poetry by Elytis is intended to mark the centenary (1911-2011) of the poet’s birth.
