The history of self-sacrifice

The Skrow Theatre Company was born from a group of close associates in 2012 and is housed in a theatre of the same name. Following the principles of cooperation, Vassilis Mavrogeorgiou, Maria Filini and Katerina Mavrogeorgi co-direct and co-star with Danai Epithymiadi and Serafeim Radis, in a performance based on material they collected and worked on all together. In the role of actor-researcher, they take on heroes, well- or lesser-known, Greek and foreign, whose acts have shed light through the centuries on the motivations and consequences of self-sacrifice, one of the most extreme and therefore controversial stances in life.
