Theatre and performing arts in Greece: From contemporary trends to future prospects

The performances of grape 2024 are complemented by an open discussion focusing on topics related to contemporary Greek Theater and Dance – particularities, trends, and prospects – as well as the necessity of establishing initiatives for the promotion of the Greek performing arts abroad.

The discussion is addressed to the international delegates visiting grape, as well as the Festival’s audience.

grape – Greek Agora of Performance is an initiative by the Athens Epidaurus Festival aiming to establish a platform for Greek artists to communicate with the international Theatre and Dance scene, giving them the opportunity to present their works to representatives and artistic directors of international festivals and cultural institutions abroad. For 2024 the platform presents 8 productions during 21 – 25 July.
