“The Secret Landscape is made of both day and night; it is passionate and expressive. The songs I have selected move and challenge me. They firmly take me by the hand and lead me to imaginary worlds, magically transporting me from the past to the present, from this day to the next,” Alkistis Protopsalti points out. The great singer joins the Athens Festival with a large gamut of songs and invites us, with an element of challenge, to an unpredictable musical journey. The programme includes works by Franz Schubert, Nino Rota and Astor Piazzolla, as well as contemporary Greek songwriters, Nikos Antypas, Stamatis Kraounakis, Stefanos Korkolis, Dionysis Savvopoulos and Evanthia Reboutsika.
