Don Quixote

Open to the new, the youthful Blitz Company, who recently received a standing ovation at Berlin’s Schaubühne, take their inspiration from the legendary Don Quixote— corner stone of contemporary fiction.  
 
The production reworks the legend of the “knight of the heavy countenance” in an effort to pin down the loneliness of the man who chases windmills as he rides through a hard and incomprehensible world on his flea-bitten old horse: a docufiction / static road movie about the adventure of being or, to quote László Krasznahorkai, the “melancholy of resistance”.
 
During the performance are being heard intense shootings. The performance also contains some violent scenes
