Danses Concertantes – Benjamin Millepied

Soloists of the New York City Ballet

This outstanding group of twelve soloists from the New York City Ballet led by Benjamin Millepied, the 32 year-old principal dancer and choreographer, bridge the Atlantic for one night only so that we can enjoy the new generation of dancers from America’s greatest company.

Authentic exponents of an important school which expresses itself in terms of energy, articulacy, tempo and the lengthening of lines, they embody excellence. They will be performing works by George Balanchine, the father of American classicism, Jerome Robbins, the other great American choreographer, and the young Benjamin Millepied.

The performances of Apollo and Who Cares?, Balanchine Ballets®, are presented by arrangement with the George Balanchine Trust

The performances of Suite of Dances and Other Dances are performed by permission of The Robbins Rights Trust
