An oeuvre fleuve which, with daring and naivety, employs every form of theatre from the pathétique to the burlesque, and every mode of acting, to tell of the human adventure: wars of expansion, religious intolerance, the conquest of the New World, and—at the epicenter of the action—Love as a means of knowing the Other: God.
