Zero
Ioannis Mandafounis, Fabrice Mazliah and May Zarhy first met at the William Forsythe Company. Born in different countries, they share a passion for dance. With their latest work they are once again entering the fray of creation, convinced that collaboration, the sharing of ideas, is the wellspring of any creative endeavour. Central to Zero is the direct relationship between memory and our sense of identity. The performers invoke the void and are transformed into individuals without a past, without roots. Their choreographic signature touches the zero-point — stripped of continuity, constancy or time.
