Peeping Tom

For Rent (À Louer)

The Belgian dance-theatre collective Peeping Tom, which includes a diverse array of artists and some exceptional dancers among its number, has found fame over the last decade with the creation of intense spectacles that are daring in their approach to painful aspects of the human condition. For Rent, almost cinematic in its conception, transforms the stage into a labyrinth that entraps the characters in never-ending meanderings. Memories, future intentions, fears, dreams and nightmares fill a world where everything is “for rent”, creating an uncertain landscape and serving as an allegory for the creative process itself.
