Fight or Flight?

What are these two dancers, of the same generation but each with her own unique movement vocabulary, seeking in their first collaboration on stage? Stavroula Siamou and Persa Stamatopoulou are venturing an exploration of the limits set by the body itself over time, overturning the idea that “the merits of the past are the failings of the present”. This duet serves as a timeline of their parallel dance experiences, focusing on matters of somatic memory and on maturity as a virtue. This coming together poses the question “can they still”, or rather provides answers to “what drives them still to dance”.
