Vassilis Koltoukis photographs street musicians he encountered on his wanderings between the Balkans and Africa: musicians at folk religious festivals, on street corners, amateurs and professionals. Travel images, archive documents and psychographic portraits all in one, Koltoukis’ black and white photographs shed light on the inner intensity of music in public space.
