Yiannis Moschos

Entertaining Stories About Mortality
Based on Anton Chekov's short stories

Yiannis Moschos directs, for the Festival, a performance/essay on the refusal of man to comprehend and come to terms with the only certainty in life: death. The narrative composition presented by the director is based on short stories by Anton Chekhov and forms a mosaic of characters caught up in an agonising quest for the meaning of life. Four acclaimed actors from different generations tell their tales and embody, with a subtle sense of humour, the tragicomic efforts we all make to justify our existence.
