The Berlin-based women’s collective that has taken Europe by storm is finally coming to Greece.
“Who were we? Who are we?” – She She Pop boldly draw on their own experiences to bring social issues to the fore, with candour, spontaneity, humour and the intransigence of youth.
Three performers who grew up in East Germany and three from West Germany share thoughts and memories as they rummage through their drawers (Schubladen in German) for diaries, teenage letters, favourite books, records and mementoes. As one might in couples therapy, they build a meaningful relationship, struggling to write a collective history free of East – West stereotypes.
